Signature Surgical Approach

How We Approach
Plastic Surgery Differently

At Dr. Rajat Gupta’s practice, plastic surgery begins with one important question: what is the right approach for this patient?

Every surgical plan is shaped around anatomy, proportion, precision, safety, and natural results. In selected cases,
Dr. Gupta uses advanced techniques developed through years of surgical experience and refined through complex aesthetic and reconstructive cases.

01
OCCULT Technique
OCCULT
-
  • A refined approach focused on concealing surgical impact, minimizing visible scarring, and preserving natural anatomical lines. The goal is a subtle enhancement that does not reveal surgical intervention.
Used in male chest surgery (gynaecomastia correction).
02
SHARP Technique
SHARP
A precision-driven surgical philosophy that emphasises:
  • Selective tissue handling
  • Structural preservation
  • Long-term contour stability
Used in tummy tuck and high-definition body contouring.
03
RG-Flap Technique
RG-Flap
An advanced reconstructive and aesthetic approach is used in complex cases where tissue repositioning is critical. It allows for:
  • Better healing outcomes
  • Improved blood supply
  • More natural reconstruction
Used in selected reconstructive cases, including complex breast and post-massive-weight-loss work.

Each technique is used only when it adds value to the patient’s result, whether through better precision, improved tissue support, discreet scarring, or more natural-looking refinement

How We Approach
Plastic Surgery Differently

At Dr. Rajat Gupta’s practice, plastic surgery begins with one important question: what is the right approach for this patient?

Every surgical plan is shaped around anatomy, proportion, precision, safety, and natural results. In selected cases, Dr. Gupta uses advanced techniques developed through years of surgical experience and refined through complex aesthetic and reconstructive cases.

OCCULT

METHOD 01

For Gynaecomastia

Published in a multicentric study of 967 patients. OCCULT (Ultrasound and Power Assisted Devices through Lateral Incision) places the surgical incision laterally on the chest wall rather than on the front of the chest. The result is a contoured male chest with no visible scar from the front, very low complication rates, and no reported cases of nipple-areola necrosis in the series.

Used in male chest surgery (gynaecomastia correction).

SHARP

METHOD 02

For High-Definition Abdominoplasty

Published in a prospective series of 128 patients. SHARP (Subscarpal Dissection in High-Definition Abdominoplasty with 3-Vector Rectus Plication) is a 10-step approach combining subscarpal dissection, 360-degree liposuction, and three-vector rectus plication.

Used in tummy tuck and high-definition body contouring.

RG-Flap

METHOD 03

A Practice-Developed Flap Technique

An in-practice flap technique used in complex reconstructive and aesthetic cases where tissue repositioning is critical. The RG-Flap protects blood supply, supports better healing, and allows for more natural reconstruction in cases that would otherwise be limited by conventional approaches.

Used in selected reconstructive cases, including complex breast and post-massive-weight-loss work.

Each technique is used only when it adds value to the patient’s result, whether through better precision, improved tissue support, discreet scarring, or more natural-looking refinement
